"We cannot have demands only specific to the students. One of the successes of the student movement is having labour on its side and other community organizations. We receive very broad support. We put our fight into a context of challenging austerity and that was an appeal to a lot of people in Quebec society. I think that’s a message that we can give to Ontario students."
